Close your eyes and imagine the scene..... On a balmy summer afternoon, turning a corner down a green and leafy lane you stumble across a quaint village fete. The air is filled with the sounds of childrens laughter, the thwack of the cricket ball against the wickets and the busy chatter of friendly conversation. The tables are laid with antique lace, traditional bunting is swathed from tree to tree and the scent of cottage garden blooms draw you closer. Afternoon tea is being served.....delicate tea cups chink against their saucers, vintage cake stands are piled high with delicious homemade cakes and sandwiches. This is a special day.
